Payment Methods

For shipments of Goods, the Company accepts payments by (a) credit / debit card and (b) Viva Wallet. By way of exception and exclusively for the purchase of Goods INSIDE Greece, the Company accepts payments also by (c) cash on delivery, as well as (d) deposit into a bank account.

 

(a) If you choose for payment a credit / debit card (accepted cards are Visa, Maestro, MasterCard), you should follow the instructions in the Online Store. Once you have filled out your details on the order form, you will be re-directed on a specially protected page of the Bank’s affiliate where you will be asked to fill in your credit / debit card number and expiration date, the three-digit security code, as well as any other information your bank deems necessary to ensure a safe transaction. Attention is drawn to the fact that during the processing of the payment by the affiliate bank and until confirmation of the successful completion of your transaction, you should avoid the interruption of the processing of the transaction. You are solely responsible for the correct recording and the truth of your credit / debit card details and the card / wallet you use for the transaction should belong to you. For security reasons, the Company does not store the details of any credit / debit card or wallet for future use, so you must re-enter the data each time you want to make a new purchase. By entering the required credit / debit card information, or your wallet, you explicitly state that you have the legal right to use your credit / debit card or wallet. If your card or the default card of your wallet has no money, the transaction will not be possible, so make sure there is a sufficient balance. Your transactions are protected by top online security systems (SSL 128-bit encrypted digital certificate, CVV credit card 3-digit security code verification, additional on-line security transactions such as Verified By Visa ™ by Visa® or the MasterCard® SecureCode ™), which guarantee a secure trading environment. In any case, the Company cannot guarantee that it can prevent unauthorized third parties from using the information illegally. Also, the Company bears no responsibility for not proceeding to a credit / debit card freezing of funds in the event of fault of the Internet Banking Service Provider (Internet Service Provider or ISP).

 

i) Prior to registering your order, your credit / debit card will be pre-approved and the total amount will be reserved (price and any agreed charges such as transportation) in order to make the corresponding reservation of the Good (s) to be send to you. In case there is a problem with the above pre-approval at the confirmation stage, then the Company will contact you in one of the ways mentioned in section 5.2.2. of the Online Shop’s Terms and Conditions in order to get in touch with you on this issue. If none of the intended ways of communication becomes possible for any reason whatsoever within one (1) business day as of sending your order request, your request will be automatically canceled and you will have to resend it to us. In this latter case, you will receive at the email address you have submitted to us a cancellation message to your order request. In case of successful pre-approval, the final charge of your card is by sending the Good/s. The billed amount other than the value of the ordered Goods (s) includes the shipping costs according to clause 9.1. of the Online Shop’s Terms and Conditions.

 

ii) If, at any point, although such pre-approval has been received and the Good (s) you ordered has/have been sent to you your card has not been charged at the relevant cost and expense by mistake and / or due to a technical or other problem and / or for any other reason, the Company has the right to debit the amount and costs of your order at a later stage, any time. In case you choose to pay by credit / debit card, you must either be present yourself when you receive your order with your identity, or an authorized third party with his or her identity. In the event the order is made in the data and on behalf of a company, they must be present at the receipt of the order, either the company’s legal representative, or an authorized employee of the company with his / her identity.

 

(b) If you choose Viva Wallet for payment you can send your payments online using one of the intended payment methods, such as a credit card, debit card, prepaid card or bank account. When you choose Viva Wallet as a payment method, you go to the Viva Wallet official website through which you make your payment. If you do not already have a Viva Wallet account, you can create an account pursuant to the account creation process described on Viva Wallet ‘s official website. The Viva Wallet page can be viewed in Greek and in English. So if you do not know some of these languages, you might want to find someone to help you in creating your account. You will need help only for the initial signup in the service as the way of payment in online stores with Viva Wallet is very simple and does not require any special English knowledge. In Viva Wallet, you can choose how you wish to make your payment (for example, using a credit card) and then send the payment to the Online Store. If your account has no money, the transaction will not be possible, so make sure there is a sufficient balance. Your transactions are protected by top-of-the-line security systems (SSL 2048 bit encryption) and credit card & account data, special firewall servers not connected to the Internet, which guarantee a secure trading environment. In any case, the Company cannot guarantee that it can prevent unauthorized third parties from using the information illegally. Also, the Company bears no responsibility for not proceeding to a credit / debit card reservation of funds in the event of fault on the part of the service provider.

 

(c) If you choose bank account deposit for payment (option provided for purchases in Greece only), then you will have to prepay your order (and any agreed charges such as transportation) as a whole, and not in part in one of the Company’s bank accounts, which you may find in the corresponding field of the Online Store “payment in a bank account”, setting your name and your order number as a reason for your deposit. The order number will be listed in the e-mail you receive as soon as your order is registered. The deposit must be completed within one (1) business day. Following the above deposit, the Goods included in your order will be processed by us.

 

Once the total amount of your order has been deposited, we process the order and confirm your order and send you the relevant emails and / or message and / or communication to the mobile phone you have provided us with. In the event that the total amount of your order is not deposited within the above-mentioned deadline of one (1) business day, your order will be canceled unconditionally and the sales contract will be deemed to have been withdrawn as a result of your resignation. In the latter case, you will be sent a relevant cancellation message for your order request to the email address and / or mobile phone you have provided us with.

 

(d) If you choose Cash on delivery for payment (option provided for purchases in Greece only), you will have to pay the courier service upon delivery of your order, otherwise the order will not be delivered. If the total value of your order exceeds € 499, it is not possible to make cash on delivery payment.

 

Irrespective of the payment method you choose, you can choose to issue either a retail receipt or an invoice. An invoice is issued to companies and freelancers, provided they fill out the following information upon their order: company name, VAT number, competent Tax Office n and profession for self-employed persons. The invoice / receipt will be sent with your order. Also, regardless of the payment method you choose, you are entitled to a refund if you decide to return the Good/s under the terms hereof.
